We met at the Hinderton Arms, and made our way to the Wallasey tunnel, then along the worlds worst roads with sunken drain covers and pot holes to RAF Woodvale. Once there, and setup, a spot of rain decided to pour down for around 15 mins, the rest of the day was pretty much dry after that. Lots to see at this show. The stand, along with a lot of the other club stands there, was out in the boonies. So a little walk to where the stalls and other attractions were. The wall of death was a highlight for a few members, along with the model aircrafts, and the Lancaster Bomber flying overhead towards the end of the show for others. All in all a very good day, and a good turn out for Wirral minis, with eleven and a half cars.
And an interesting drive home along those terrible roads mentioned earlier, oh, and a few minis driving round and round and round and round the roundabout just before the entrance to the Birkenhead tunnel.
Some pictures of the Wirral Mini Owners club stand, and some of the cars that were on display.
