Wirral Minis

Clwyd Practical Classics Caerwys Show

The Show was held at Barlows Caravan Park, Caerwys Nr. MOLD, FLINTSHIRE, Signposted from the A55 (exit 31) or A541 at the Caerwys Junction. All the profits going to charity.

The weather was just constant rain from when we got there. The gazebos were erected as quickly as possible and Gary came up with the stand layout. 5 red minis in a semi circle one side. And 5 not so red minis in a semi circle the other. All the flags and buntings were set out. John Sanderson brought some decorative spinning coke bottles. Of which we had plenty of wind to spin them. By 10am everything was set up. And looked really good. Which is more than could be said for the soaking wet Wirral mini members. Our spirits weren’t dampened, Just our clothing.

There were a lot of other clubs there showing off their beautiful cars. All in all a fairly good turnout all round.

Julie managed to purchase another monkey

Oh and just so you know, if a snake is lying straight along side you. Be worried.  It’s sizing you up for lunch. You have been warned.

Thanks go to John Sanderson and Paul Byrne for the photos
