This show was a great day. 13 members vehicles turned up to Oulton Park, and to help remember our good friend John Chamings. The weather was surprisingly dry for pretty much 99% of the day, which is surprising considering the summer we have been having. Our trophy, The John Chamings Memorial Trophy, which had been made lovingly by Gary, which was a small replica of Johns Lizzymint, right down to the registration number, was decided to be awarded by each car having a number, and each member voting on whatever criteria they wanted. This was Gary’s idea, and was agreed by everyone. There was a good turn out of classic minis in general.
