Wirral Minis

Wirral Minis Mouldsworth Motor Museum run

The weather was surprisingly good, for October. Sun was shining all day. 6 cars met up at the Stamford Bridge. We then drove 10 minutes further on to the old water softening plant which has been converted to the Mouldsworth motor museum. Some lovely items of days gone by on display. From old vintage cars, petrol pumps, keyrings, posters, paintings and bonnet mascots. The owner James Peacop gave us a talk about some of the items they had at the museum. We felt very welcome and everyone enjoyed themselves. We then proceeded to the Royal Vale Abbey Arms for our lunch, a drink and a general chinwag.

All in all a nice pleasant day out.

Thanks to James Peacop for his chat, and his hospitality.  The Museum has a website you can go to for any details you might need about the museum.  http://www.mouldsworthmotormuseum.com
